The Feel pathway

Stay with what you feel.

A difficult feeling arrives, and the first instinct can be to make it stop. Maybe you reach for the phone, get busy, ask for reassurance or push through.

Feel begins before the escape.

Notice what is there. Name it as precisely as you can. Let it be present without adding a second layer of alarm.

The aim is not to enjoy the feeling or stay in it forever. It is to build the capacity to remain with the feeling while it moves through you and fades away.

Learn that you can stay

You do not need to feel less. You need to learn that you can stay.

Emotional regulation is often mistaken for staying calm. But a well-regulated person does not feel less. They have more capacity to notice what is happening without immediately needing to neutralise it.

The first wave of emotion can be uncomfortable. The alarm about the feeling can intensify it: Why am I like this? When will it stop? I cannot handle this.

How Feel becomes practice

Feel is not a vague instruction to sit with your emotions.

Actulyze makes the process practical. It shows you a way to name the emotion, notice its intensity, recognise patterns in how you respond and choose a guided way to stay with what is there.

The purpose is not to score feelings as good or bad. It is to experience the feeling and allow it to pass through you.
